FOUR years! My, my how time flies.
History Lesson:
Back in 2013, this blog happened. As many of you know … hubby worried that my being a stay-at-home would mean that I’d stop being creative and challenged me with finding an artistic way to express myself in order to use those “little grey cells” (nods to Poirot).
I always wanted to write (like many of us!) and thought combining it with a game I love ensured an easier time of getting things moving.
It moved. Sometimes with a leap and a bound. Other times crawling at a snail’s pace.
I started writing Keegan’s Kids (Dec 2013 – July 2014), an Adoptacy, which was fun to play and write, but perhaps my game didn’t agree. The game crashed. Bad. When I next went in, there were’t any usable saves. Everything was gone for good.
**cries**
Addy’s Note: The partially completed story is here (behind-the-scenes) because I couldn’t bear the thought of losing every piece of that precious puzzle. And … if I ever decide to do another one along similar lines then I might want to use it as reference material. π
So this little bit of cyberspace space collected dust as I played other households.
Then November 2014 rolls around. Another simmer & I decided to take the same starting couple in the same town (Riverview) following the rules of a Randomacy and compare our 10th generation heirs.
2 Times the Fun went live as a forum thread in January 2015 and is still active to this day. I added it to this blog in February of that year.
Unfortunately, her game died the ultimate death much like Keegan’s (February 2016) and therefore it is truly no longer TWO Times the Fun.
I didn’t want another story of mine to end abruptly so I’m still here, having fun.
Hopefully you are too!!!
Thanks for reading π
I’m just glad you’re still enjoying it.
I am, I am!
Happy blogaversary! π
Thanks!
Happy blogiversary! Hopefully, you’ll stay around for many more years to come! π
Thank YOU! I certainly plan to. Ideas are percolating in regards to what the 10th generation heir will be doing. Maybe some other things. Time will tell/reveal. π
Congrats on four fun-filled years! π
Thanks π I’m looking forward to more fun-filled years with this!
