Euan and Patience are busy doing what they can to raise a family and keep the roof over their heads. They know with the upcoming birthdays that more simoleons are needed, but phailure is not a part of their vocabulary at any time and especially not during Week THREE.

No work or school, but plenty to do on this special Leisure Day.

Was hoping to get this out Friday but the words weren’t flowing and the game was calling … or was it the words weren’t flowing BECAUSE the game was calling? lol

Anyway, Week TWO of “No Room for Phailure” is now available 🙂

The next chapter of “2 Times The FUN!” should be released on Tuesday, February 6th unless jury duty on Monday indicates otherwise. Yes, I know I can plan publishing date/time but like to be hands-on for posting chapter links elsewhere (s3 page, forums & FB) around the same time.

The Snyder family legacy is getting lonely in this cyberspace neighborhood, but I didn’t think I could do justice to more than one ongoing tale. Many months went by as this particular ponder was puzzled over and various ideas got moved every which way before being shoved aside.

Recently, a couple of SimFriends mentioned doing a short challenge (The Renovacy Challenge created by SamelaRita) and their stories are quite entertaining. I lurked on the forum thread and continued to debate doing this. Finally I said, “Self, stop thinking you can’t and just give it a go. Play for fun and see if any story ideas spark.”

Boy, did they ever! The various scenarios she created all have appeal, but I chose to start this journey with Euan and Patience McPhail. Hopefully you’ll like them as much as I do!

The family decides to enjoy this beautiful summer day with a picnic in the park.

With Ben’s wedding around the corner, Van attempts a reconciliation with Malinda. He also celebrates a birthday and realizes in regard to these two matters, nothing has changed.

The first day of summer brings wonderful weather, a pleasant picnic and something shiny to rival the stars in the sky.

Friday and Saturday are quiet days, without much planned, yet eventful because a few tasks get checked off the to-do list.

The Snyder twins are nearing the end of their senior year. Things are winding down as final grades get turned in and the last field trip is taken. They’re especially looking forward to what happens next!
